Leisa Tyler

Leisa Tyler is an Australian/ British food and travel journalist who has been living in Asia since 1998. Her work has been translated into dozens of languages and appeared in varied places such as the National Library of Singapore to, unbeknownst to her, pro-dictator websites in Central Asia.

Leisa is a member photographer for the picture libraries LightRocket and Getty Images. She also curates culinary industry seminars and forums, including for Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants and the Asian Food Files.

The photographs and articles on this site have appeared in publications such as TIME, National Geographic, Travel + Leisure, The Sydney Morning Herald and the Melbourne Age, Daily Telegraph, Marie Claire, DestinAsian, Der Spiegel, CNN Traveller and many, many more. The articles span from 2004 to now and are not a complete collection.
